Why Rock Rails? We use the term "Rock Rail" to describe our geometry correction brackets. Geometry correction does just that....corrects the geometry of the control arms. There are 2 schools of thought on this. Some prefer to keep the arm in its factory location for clearance purposes. You did gain some clearance but that's all you gained. The cons to that will outweigh the pros for most customers. Largest con being ride.
If you lift your Jeep you may notice a little harsher ride and a little more squirrely under braking....kinda darty.
By restoring the angles back to factory, or near factory, the ride is IMPROVED, especially when combined with our Progressive Rate coils. Braking feels confident and more controlled. Here's our most unique feature.....to counter the bracket dropping your arms and restoring angles, we have incorporated a rock slider into the bracket.
Hence the term "Rock Rail". So it's essentially a geometry correction bracket that restores 4 link angles AND still gives your Jeep the Rugged Off Road ability you want. It's really the best of both worlds!

The Rock Rail XL drops the frame mounting position of the lower control arms by 3 1/2". It is a inch lower than the standard Rock Rails. The kit comes with rear axle geometry correction brackets that raise the axle mounting position of the rear upper control arms by 2 1/2" . Making the angles of the upper and lower control arms more in-line with each other.
The Rock Rail XL Kit is compatible with ALL control arm brands including OEM stock arms. The brackets are easy to install, bolt onto the frame, and do NOT require any cutting of the frame.
Also included in the kit are Cam Plates for the rear axle bracket to dialing in pinion angle. Great for fixed arm lengths. Also included are Gusset Braces.

The process to get your ELev8 Fabricated Drop and Faceplates in a custom color has NEVER been EASIER!
ELev8 staff has 15 years of experience working with Prismatic Powders, our Custom Powder Coating POWDER partner.
The process is straightforward.
- If you want a custom color not listed you only have to go to the Prismatic Color Selection Site and select your color. Send us off your choice and you are ALL SET! We will have our local powder coater order the custom mixed powder from Prismatic Powders and then Powder Coat your ELev8 Control Arms. https://www.prismaticpowders.com/shop/powder-coating-colors
- If you want a Jeep OEM color just send us your Jeep Year, Make and Model with the Factory Color Name. If we have ordered this in the past you are all set.
Please allow 6 weeks for this process. The old adage, if it is worth doing then it is worth doing RIGHT! And at ELev8, doing things right to provide you Rugged Style is what we strive for every day on every order!
